Hollywood matchmaker Amber Kelleher-Andrews has succumbed to a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer at the age of 56.

Known as the relationship broker, she worked her way up as a model and actress before venturing into professional matchmaking. She was most known for her work alongside actress Eva Longoria, 50, on the 2013 NBC reality series Ready for Love. She also made guest appearances as an expert relationship consultant on Good Morning America, Today, and 20/20.

As reported by The Daily Mail, she was most known for matchmaking stars like former Today show host Hoda Kotb, comedian David Spade, singer Paula Abdul, and football player Terrell Owens.

Amber Kelleher-Andrews tied the knot with Nico Andrews in September 1999. The pair celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last year, and they shared three children together, all of whom were under the age of 23.

The life and legacy of Amber Kelleher-Andrews explored:

The Daily Mail has reported that Amber Kelleher-Andrews had been battling ovarian cancer since 2017, and she passed away on April 13. Her remains will be buried in Hanalei, Hawaii. Her cousin, Morgan Kelleher, confirmed her passing.

'Our family suffered a huge loss last week with the passing of my cousin Amber, who was born five days after me in 1969,' he began his note. 'She left behind three beautiful children, ages 19, 21 and 23 as well as her loving husband of 25 years, her mother Jill, her brother Flynn, who she helped raise, her aunts, cousins, and uncle, and the hundreds of friends that she made during her time with us.' Morgan added: 'She was larger than life and had an infectious laugh as a little girl.'

Her celebration of life will be held in Santa Barbara in the coming few months.

According to an article published in the LA Times back in February 2022, Amber Kelleher-Andrews would charge $30,000 to $300,000 a year for her matchmaking services. “I know it sounds like a lot of money,” she told the outlet, “but it’s pocket change to the wealthy.

She served as co-chief executive of Kelleher International, which is one of America's largest matchmaking firms. By the age of 52, she had been working in the same field for over half her life, and her clientele was a diverse array of Hollywood entertainers, Silicon Valley founders, professional athletes and coaches, politicians, and Wall Street tycoons.

The company didn't require a minimum net worth, they just had to be able to pay the membership fee, but they had to be serious about a long-term commitment. It is not, as Kelleher-Andrews told the outlet, “showing up for a hookup.”

Amber Kelleher-Andrews is also known for having hosted a radio talk show called The Rules of Engagement on KFWB News Talk 980.
