Singer Sabrina Carpenter has made her way to Fortnite.

According to The Mirror US, players can adopt Carpenter’s character while using weapons like shotguns against characters like Batman and Lara Croft. Additionally, some of her songs like Juno, Taste, and Please Please Please will be there.

On April 9, 2025, the X account “DramaAlert” shared a video from the game in which many of Carpenter’s characters performed Please Please Please. The post was captioned, “Sabrina Carpenter has RUINED Fortnite.”

Social media users had mixed reactions to it, and one X user commented:

“U cant ruin trash.”

While some X users agreed that Sabrina Carpenter’s character ruined the game, others noted otherwise.

“I don't want to be a gamer anymore,” a social media user claimed.
“And that’s why kids are starting to stop playing fortnite, it’s becoming a joke,” a netizen reacted.
““Ruined”? No babe, she improved the game. This is peak Fortnite,” an online commentator opined.

According to netizens, this was the beginning of Fortnite drama, while others seemed excited about the collab.

“More like SAVED Fortnite, my ps5 was started to collect dust until this collab dropped,” an internet user wrote.
“She made fortnite alive again,” a netizen reacted.
“Haha, sounds like Fortnite drama! I bet it's still fun though,” another X user noted.
“Ruined? I think this is pretty dope,” an online user claimed.

A new feature introduced with her character was the addition of “dance emotes." For the first time, if Sabrina Carpenter’s character danced an emote, another player who didn’t own that emote could walk up to her and join in. This interactive mechanic was a fresh experiment for the game.

More about Sabrina Carpenter and Fortnite collab

Sabrina Carpenter was added to the game as the Icon for Season 8 of the Fortnite Festival. Players could unlock her in-game outfit, themed items, and music tracks with the Music Pass of the game's eighth season.

On April 7, 2025, Fortnite announced that players could earn free and premium rewards in the Music Pass by gaining XP across any Fortnite game mode, not just Festival.

To unlock the premium rewards while earning XP, players either had to buy the Music Pass for 1,400 V-Bucks or get it through the Fortnite Crew subscription. Concerning premium awards, the press release wrote:

“Your old Outfit not doin’ it for ya? You’ll immediately unlock the Sabrina Carpenter Outfit after purchasing the Music Pass! (Sabrina has an included LEGO Style!) This Outfit features a yellow embellished babydoll inspired by the one she wore on her most recent tour.”

Another Sabrina Carpenter outfit, called "Tour-Ready," was added. It featured clothing inspired by her real-life tour looks, with contributions from designers and her stylist. The outfit came in different color styles, including pink, baby blue, and a LEGO version.

Alongside it, players could also get themed accessories like a heart-shaped purse, two emotes based on her songs, a falling contrail, and a microphone item. All of these could be bought separately or together in a bundle that also included a music track from her.
