Travis Kelce’s romance with Taylor Swift has grabbed everyone’s attention, but it has also allegedly caused a significant shift in his friend group. One of his friends in the sports world, Nick Wright, shared recently that he hasn’t had the opportunity to catch up with Kelce since the NFL the star's relationship with Swift got serious.
In a recent episode of his podcast, What’s Wright? With Nick Wright, the sports analyst, openly acknowledged that he and Kelce haven’t had a good conversation in quite some time. He said:
"Trav and I have not, like, talked, talked since he's been serious with Taylor Swift... Since he's become a high-priority, super celebrity. So here's the thing. I don't want to bother him during the year."
He added that Kelce’s growing celebrity status and busy schedule have made it hard for them to catch up. The tragic shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade supposedly pushed their plans to meet up even further back.
"We were going to get together after the parade or during, but there was obviously the tragedy and the shooting at the parade. So everything got askew," he explained.
Kelce and Swift then officially confirmed their romance in October 2023. Ever since their relationship announcement, Taylor Swift has been seen at various Kansas City Chiefs games showing support for Travis Kelce.
