On February 5, 2025, an updated s*xual misconduct lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court against Top Dawg Entertainment(TDE), bringing new charges against the company. According to plaintiffs Linda Luna and Ayah Altayri, the branding exposed their identities to the public, putting them at risk of financial losses, harassment, and threats.
To hide their identities, Linda Luna and Ayah Altyari, the plaintiffs, initially filed the case using the names Jane Doe and Jane Roe. But on February 1, 2025, Top Dawg Entertainment's legal team, under the leadership of Marty Singer, named them in a press statement, which the plaintiffs say caused a flurry of online abuse and real-world repercussions.
According to the lawsuit, both ladies received threatening and violent communications after Top Dawg Entertainment disclosed the information. Some threatened s*xual harm, while others contained hopes for them to be
"burned al*ve"
and
"r*ped and k*lled."
Luna alleges that in addition to being harassed personally, her media relations firm's social media profiles were also targeted. She also claims that the incident caused two of her clients to cut off their relationships with her, costing her money.
According to the amended lawsuit,
“Plaintiffs initially filed this lawsuit under the pseudonyms Jane Doe and Jane Roe, fearing for their reputations and safety if their names were publicly revealed,” the suit states. “On information and believe, Defendant TDE released a public statement to multiple news outlets on February 1, 2025, through a representative stating that this was a ‘shakedown lawsuit by Linda Luna and Ayah Altayri,’ thus revealing Plaintiff’s names to the public.”
Additionally, the lawsuit contained,
“Since her identity was revealed, Ms. Luna has received multiple harassing messages from third parties. Ms. Luna has also received multiple harassing messages towards her media relations company’s social media account. Following the release of Plaintiffs’ personally identifying information, two of Ms. Luna’s clients terminated their professional relationship with her.”
Initial allegations and Top Dawg Entertainment's response
Top Dawg Entertainment President Anthony "Moosa" Tiffith Jr. and Chief Marketing Officer Brandon Tiffith are charged with s*xual harassment, violence assault, and negligence in the initial case, which was filed on January 31, 2025.
Luna asserts that she was underpaid when she was employed in 2017 to provide brand marketing and public relations services. She claims that even though Tiffith Jr. completed the task, he disregarded her repeated demands for money, only infrequently delivering small sums of a few hundred dollars.
In addition to allegedly pressing his
"erect genitalia agisnt her buttocks"
without her consent. Altayri claims that Brandon Tiffith made unwelcome s*xual advances toward her.
The lawsuit also describes an event that involves one of the friends of a TDE musician. She alleges that TDE staff members s*xually harassed her twice, including giving her wine when she was underage in what she believes was an effort to encourage s*xual advances.
Top Dawg Entertainment has refuted every accusation, calling the case a "shakedown" and asserting that the plaintiff's initial demand for damages was $48 million. The business contends that there are communications and text messages that refute the allegations.
Marty Singer, Top Dawg Entertainment's lawyer, made a forceful statement, stating:
“This is a clear example of a shakedown lawsuit by Linda Luna and Ayah Altayri, who made a demand of $48 million through their attorneys on fabricated claims, and whose attorneys are looking for their ten minutes of fame. There are text messages and communications that totally refute these baseless claims.”
he also emphasized,
"Additionally, Ms. Luna and Ms. Altayri were never employees of Top Dawg Entertainment. We are confident that we will prevail in this action.”
Public reactions and industry concerns
Concerns over victim privacy and reprisals in the entrainment industry have been brought up by the doxxing allegations. Publicly naming the accusers in cases of s*xual misconduct is thought to discourage additional survivors from coming forward.
Shounak S. Dharap, the plaintiffs' lawyer, denounced TDE's conduct, saying:
“This lawsuit presents a glaring example of the systemic abuse and exploitation in the entertainment industry. Our clients trusted TDE to act with integrity and professionalism. Instead, their trust was betrayed in profoundly damaging ways. They’re bringing this lawsuit because they refuse to be silenced, and because they intend to hold TDE accountable in court.”
Luna and Altayri are requesting punitive damages, financial loss, and mental distress compensation. Additionally, they allege that TDE took retaliatory action against them and permitted misbehavior to continue unchecked.
