Mad Max: Fury Road, released in 2015 became a sensation in no time, and after a long wait, you can now stream it on Netflix.

Australian filmmaker George Miller returned to the big screen with this stunning adventure saga that ended up winning six Oscars. However, this is not the first time Miller explored his fascination with these barren wastelands. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, he worked on three Mad Max projects with Mel Gibson as the leading star. Over three decades later, he returned to this electrifying world with Tom Hardy replacing Gibson as the iconic 'Mad Max' Rockatansky.

Besides Hardy as Max, Fury Road starred Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, Max joins Furiosa to find her homeland as they hope to take on a ruthless dictator with the woman trying to escape his tyranny.

Fast forward to 2024, Warner Bros. Pictures helped finance the next chapter of the Mad Max Saga. That's how we received Furiosa, the origin story of Theron's character from the 2015 film.

Now, at the end of 2024, Mad Max fans have another reason to celebrate. After a long wait, Mad Max: Fury Road and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga are finally available to stream on Netflix.
