Tom Brady shares cryptic quote after former wife Gisele Bündchen welcomed her first child with boyfriend Joaquim Valente

Gisele Bündchen's ex-husband Tom Brady shared a cryptic quote on his Instagram account on February 6 after Gisele gave birth to her third child on February 5.

In the quote, Tom Brady mentioned,

"I really think the secret to being loved is to love. And the secret to being interesting is to be interested. And the secret to have others find beauty in you is to find beauty in others. And the secret to having a friend is being a friend."

Gisele Bündchen gave birth to her child on February 5 with boyfriend Joaquim Valente, a source close to the supermodel confirmed. The two have been dating after they were first spotted together in February 2022. Gisele and Brady had earlier announced that they had "amicably" finalized their divorce in October 2022 after thirteen years of marriage.

Why did Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady get divorced?

While the couple hasn't confirmed an official reason that led to their divorce, Gisele Bündchen, in a cover story for Vanity Fair in March 2023, opened up about the divorce, saying,

"Sometimes you grow together; sometimes you grow apart. When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make. That doesn't mean you don't love the person."

Gisele and Tom Brady share two kids, Vivian Lake, 11, and Benjamin Rein, 15. The two met on a blind date set up by a mutual friend in 2006. While speaking to WSJ magazine in 2021, Tom recalled his first interaction with Gisele, saying,

"I think the one phone call that changed my life was my friend Ed, who called me one day and he said, 'I have this girl and I think you should call her. I ended up calling her and it ended up being the love of my life."

The two began dating after that, with rumors about their relationship circulating after Bundchen was spotted waiting for the football player outside of the New England Patriots locker room in January 2007. Two years later, in January 2009, Brady proposed to his model girlfriend with a diamond solitaire ring, and they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at St. Monica Catholic Church in California in February 2009.
