The star couple, Alison Brie and Dave Franco's upcoming body horror film Together is set to release theatrically in August 2025 after its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival 2025 on January 26, 2025.
Directed and written by Michael Shanks, who has previously directed short films and TV series such as Time Trap (2013), The Wizards of Aus (2016), and Rebooted (2019), makes his first full-length feature film with Together.
Starring the real-life actor couple, Alison Brie and Dave Franco, they essay the role of a couple in Together, which follows the plot of Tim and Millie who are on a quest to rebuild their failing relationship, and hence they move to a faraway location. The story follows the events that happen after they move in, as they encounter supernatural events.
As per IMDb, the plot of Together reads as:
"Together is a supernatural drama following a couple whose relocation to the countryside instigates a mysterious event, profoundly impacting their relationship, lives, and physical identities."

Together is set to make its theatrical release in the United States on August 1, 2025, as confirmed by the film's distributor NEON on social media.
The Golden Globe-nominated actor, Alison Brie is well known for her work in the TV series, Mad Men (2007-2015), Community (2009-2015), GLOW (2017-2019) and for lending her voice in the iconic Animated series, BoJack Horseman (2014-2020), along with working in films namely, The Lego Movie film franchise (2014-2019), How To Be Single (2016), joins along with her husband Dave Franco who is best known for his work in films including 21 Jump Street (2012), Now You See Me film series (2013 and 2016), Neighbors (2014), Nerve (2016).
The duo has previously collaborated as well, not only as actors but also in roles of writing and directing in some, including The Disaster Artist (2017), The Little Hours (2017), The Rental (2020), Somebody I Used To Know (2023), amongst many others. Along with them, Damon Herriman also joins the cast of Together, essaying the role of Jamie.
Along with starring in Together in the lead roles, Alison Brie and Dave Franco also serve as producers in the film, along with Erik Feig, Andrew Mittman, Mike Cowap, Julia Hammer, Tim Headington, and Max Silva, under the production companies 30West, Picturestart, Tango Entertainment, Princess Pictures and 1.21.
Lately, there has been an uprise in many critically acclaimed films exploring the body horror genre, and Together is certainly one of them. Having received an IMDb rating of 7.8 out of10 and a massive aggregate of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes Together is bound to leave a huge impact on the audience upon its theatrical release.
