The news was first shared by TMZ on January 7, 2025, claiming that it was around December 2024 that the two actors reportedly broke up. The report mentioned that the separation happened on amicable terms.

The couple shared several heartwarming moments throughout their relationship. In 2023, the actors visited the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. They were there for the annual Make March Matter event, a campaign that helped raise funds for the hospital.

Besides playing with the kids, Austin Butler also took part in a jamming session with his guitar. Kaia Gerber also joined an arts and crafts project with the kids. Their visit to the hospital happened a week after they spent a vacation in Mexico.
