Rumors have circulated online for some time suggesting that football wide receiver Stefon Diggs and Cardi B may be involved in an affair. Podcaster and internet personality DJ Akademiks also alleged the same.

As per a report by Brobible, Diggs was allegedly the reason behind the singer’s break up with partner Offset, as the two had an affair while Cardi B was eight months pregnant. This alleged revelation has made fans go into a frenzy. One X user wrote:
“This offsets all of Offset's cheating.”
Many social media users acted surprised, recalling that Cardi B and Offset had a good relationship.
“being 8 months pregnant is wild for both parties involved...” a person wrote on X.
“Someone post the video of the vikings saying he can't date their sisters,” another netizen reacted.
“I’m not gone lie I would of did it to,” a social media user posted.
“crazy. cardi and offset had a perfect relationship,” a person reacted.
Other X users voiced their disappointment, stating that they no longer believe in love, while many called the rumor ‘disgusting.’
“Too many men on the field,” an X user wrote.
“That’s disgusting, no wonder Josh Allen wanted him gone,” a social media user reacted.
“Damn, I don’t believe in love anymore,” another person wrote.
Reportedly, the rapper is not the only person Diggs was having an affair with. He was involved with the girlfriends of several other rappers. It is also alleged that Cardi B discovered her husband was cheating with other women, leading Offset to check her phone for any suspicious activity when her alleged affair with Diggs was unearthed.
Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024
Per a Billboard report from September 2024, the rapper and Offset had a secret wedding on September 20, 2017, before Offset publicly proposed during Power 99's Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia the following October.
Nearly three years later, Cardi filed for divorce on September 15, 2020, according to Georgia's Fulton County Magistrate. Although they reconciled shortly after, Cardi filed for divorce again in the summer of 2024.
While talking about how she and Offset met in an interview with Fuse in 2019, Cardi B said:
“We met in New York but before we linked up, it was like an industry party they had. He was hitting up my homegirl star, like asking about me and I was just like no, I am not trying to deal with no rappers like is that they date too many girls and I am the type of girl that catch villains. And as I added any girl well what makes me think that you are gonna stay with me out of all these girls.”
Cardi B shared that their dynamic was initially unusual, with both being too proud to reach out or express their feelings. In the early months, they rarely contacted each other, and she admitted that she struggled to open up, trying to maintain a tough exterior. Despite that, she couldn’t stop thinking about him.
