More about Kendrick Lamar's GNX album
Kendrick Lamar's new album, GNX, is all set to release a special edition. Lefty Gunplay, one of Lamar's collaborators, during an appearance on The Bootleg Kev Podcast, mentioned that Lamar is working on a deluxe edition of the album, saying,
"Yeah, I rapped on that beat. Got some stuff...I know he's got a deluxe version coming out."
The new album features collaborations with SZA, Luther and Gloria, and other artists, including Jack Antonoff, Kamasi Washington, Sam Dew, Roddy Ricch, Bobby Hawk, Ink, and more.
His new album comes after he made headlines in spring for his feud with Drake and released a list of single tracks, including Euphoria, Meet the Grahams, and Not Like Us. The latter was announced to be nominated for song of the year and record of the year earlier this month.
GNX is Lamar's sixth album and includes 12 tracks. It's also his first album since 2022's Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers and is released ahead of his headlining performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show scheduled for February 2025.
The album also features diss tracks following his long-running feud with Drake.
