The first teaser trailer for the highly awaited Final Destination: Bloodlines is here and it's bloodier than ever. It is the sixth part of the Final Destination film series, and the release of its last installment Final Destination 5, was 14 years ago, in 2011.

Directed by the Daytime Emmy nominated director Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, who have previously worked together in Mech-X4 (2016-2018), Freaks (2018), Kim Possible (2019), this time comes with the supernatural horror flick Final Destination: Bloodlines. The screenplay is penned by Guy Busick, Jon Watts, and Lori Evans Taylor.

Final Destination: Bloodlines is slated to be released on May 16, 2025.

The official teaser trailer of Final Destination: Bloodlines was launched by its distribution company Warner Bros. Pictures on February 3, 2025.

The trailer showcases a brutal scene of a tattoo artist who is mourning the loss of his father. After performing a piercing on his last customer of the day, certain eerie supernatural forces lead him to his death when a broken chain from the ceiling fan catches hold of the septum of his nose and hangs him by it.

The room too catches fire. As he steps on the glass table struggling to set himself free, the fan breaks from the ceiling and he falls into the fire and gets immolated.

The color palette of the frames is predominantly red and black, which sets the tone of its gore themes. The trailer begins with a close-up of a tongue getting pierced, all while giving us glimpses of the tattoo artist's emotional state as he reveals to his customer about his father's passing.

He also impulsively tattoos the letters 'dad' on his forearm, moments before his death, with him playing Air Supply's Without You on his phone.

According to Variety, the plotline of Final Destination: Bloodlines has not been revealed by the makers yet. However, as per Hollywood Reporter, the story follows the plot of Stefanie who has lost her family to ill-time demises and is striving to find someone who can bring an end to this.
