Things are looking fantastic for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, as the trailer for the highly anticipated superhero project, has just crossed 200 million views across all platforms in just 24 hours, a fresh new achievement for Marvel.
The film falls behind Deadpool & Wolverine and Spider-Man: No Way Home as the trailers for both films surpassed 300 million views in the first twenty-four hours. Upon release, The Fantastic Four: First Steps was the immediate trending topic across all social media platforms as fans buzzed with speculation and anticipation for the latest Marvel project.
The cast showed up at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama to launch the trailer on 4th February. Disney reports that the trailer launch in Alabama became the top-trending video on YouTube and had the highest number of views ever for a Marvel YouTube live-stream. On X, the trailer debut also reached a major peak. The total outreach for the trailer reached around 500,000, surpassing the numbers of every other Marvel trailer except for Deadpool 3, which had some help with its numbers, thanks to the Super Bowl.
Starring Pedro Pascal, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn and Vanessa Kirby as the lead four, The Fantastic Four: First Steps brings back fans' favorite squad of four as they take on new responsibilities and adventures in a retro-futuristic world.

The trailer for the film showed fans glimpses of Marvel's First Family, as the squad is known among fans, as they go about their lives before and after attaining their powers. Pascal plays Mr Fantastic, Kirby plays Susan Storm, Quinn plays Human Torch aka Johnny Storm and Bachrach plays The Thing.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps also introduces fans to Marvel's latest antagonist- Galactus. The long-awaited villain is finally getting screen time as he fights the Family. Although many fans had expressed their disappointment in the character's size as shown in the trailer. However, further digging brought fans to the conclusion that his size might be a part of his strengths as his character, Galactus, is known for being able to change his appearance at will.
The film is being directed by Matt Shakman, while Jeff Kaplan is behind the screenwriting. Not much has been revealed about the plot so far, and it will be exciting to unravel how the film sits in with the rest of Marvel's storyline.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is coming to theaters on July 25, 2025.
