The Accountant 2: Amazon MGM drops fresh new look with official trailer of the much-anticipated action thriller sequel

The Accountant 2 is a direct sequel to the 2016 film The Accountant. The action thriller is helmed by Gavin O'Connor with a script from Bill Dubuque. It will have its world premiere at the South by Southwest event after which it will be released theatrically on April 25, 2025, by Amazon MGM Studios.

The makers have released the trailer of this much-awaited Ben Affleck starrer action thriller flick. The trailer has reportedly increased the hype among fans of the first film who are now looking forward to watching the sequel. The Accountant 2 official trailer has been released by Amazon MGM Studios. The three-minute-long trailer begins with Christian Wolff (played by Ben Affleck) who is asking someone over call about the difference between dressing casual and business casual.

It then starts a series of montages featuring some familiar faces from the first film. We also see some thrilling moments of violence and gunshots as the autistic accountant tries to navigate his way from the events.

The Accountant 2 starts with Marybeth Medina who works as a treasury agent. She gets in touch with Christian Wolff after a close person to her dies. He teams up with his brother Brax to unravel the mystery of these events. The official synopsis of the film, as per Amazon MGM Studios, is:

Christian Wolff has a talent for solving complex problems. When an old acquaintance is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message to “find the accountant,” Wolff is compelled to solve the case.
