More about LiAngelo Ball’s Tweaker

Tweaker was launched on streaming platforms on January 3, 2025, but had already gained viral attention earlier when LiAngelo Ball played it during N3on’s stream. The track has amassed over 8 million views on YouTube when writing the story.

Despite not having an official music video, it did well and has over 15 million Spotify plays. Tweaker is also trending on Apple Music. Reminiscent of the late '90s and early 2000s Cash Money acts like Big Tymers, the song has earned praise from Southern rap legend DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia.

Tweaker recently caught attention for its credits, listing LiAngelo Ball’s brother Lonzo as a writer. Lonzo clarified on social media that his only contribution was the cover art, giving full credit to LiAngelo.

Tweaker sparked a wave of memes and nostalgia for early 2000s Hip Hop from cities like Atlanta and New Orleans. After its official release, NBA players shared videos of themselves partying to the song, and veteran rappers like Boosie Badazz and Moneybagg Yo expressed interest in collaborating on a remix.

LiAngelo Ball, 25, is the middle sibling between NBA players Lonzo Ball and LaMelo Ball. Although he went undrafted in 2018, he had training camp contracts with teams like the Pistons and Hornets but has reportedly not secured a spot on an active NBA roster.

In 2021, Ball joined the NBA G-League's Greensboro Swarm, where he played for two seasons. Recently, he took his talents to Mexico, playing for Astros de Jalisco.
