⁠“That's not something that I normally do"—Brian Austin Green explains why he called out Megan Fox’s ex, Machine Gun Kelly

In response to the split between Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, Brian Austin Green has yet again criticized the rapper's actions. Stating that he was deeply offended by MGK's reaction to the breakup, Green told People Magazine,

"That's not something that I normally do”

On February 2, Brian Austin Green, 51, made news when he posted a harshly worded statement on Instagram Stories that seemed to be aimed at the 'Rap Devil' hitmaker. Green said in the since-deleted post, which TMZ reported,

"Bro. Just be honest for once in your life. Stop caring so much about how you’re perceived that you will try and drag other people.”

A screenshot of MGK's song Don't Let Me Go was also included in the post, which implied that Green was responding to the rapper's recent efforts to manipulate the media's portrayal of his split with Fox.

Brian Austin Green has already expressed his dissatisfaction with MGK's actions. Green did not mince words when he spoke to TMZ back in December, just after rumors circulated that Fox and MGK had called it quits on their engagement. Green inquired,

“He’s in his 30s, isn’t he? In your 30s, f--k. Grow up. Like, she’s pregnant.”

Brian Austin Green, who has three kids with Fox—Journey, 8, Bodhi, 10, and Noah, 12—said he was really worried about how the split was impacting not just Fox but also their kids. He said,

"I just want the best for her, I want the best for the baby, I want the best for our kids."

He went on to add,

“That’s a shame. That’s a shame. I’m heartbroken about it because I know she’s been so excited and the kids are so excited for life and the change and all of that.”

The actor, who was wed to Fox for ten years prior to their divorce, has stated unequivocally that he still cares about his former spouse. Apart from his kids with Fox, Brian Austin Green also has a 2-year-old son named Zane with fiancée Sharna Burgess and a 22-year-old son named Kassius, whom he had with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil.

Machine Gun Kelly responds to rumors as Brian Austin Green calls him out again

Brian Austin Green has once again offered his thoughts on the split between Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, criticizing the rapper for his actions.

He added that MGK's separation with Megan Fox

“really got under my skin.”

Brian Austin Green went on to say,

“So I spoke my mind, but then I've since come to terms with the fact that I won't do that anymore. I'm going to shut up and just sit back.”

Green also mentioned that MGK has not contacted him in response to his public outlash.

In an unclear Instagram post on January 28, MGK seemed to refute rumors about his strained relationship with Fox, but he has not explicitly addressed Brian Austin Green's comments.

“How can ‘sources say’ when the sources haven’t said anything?”

The rapper-turned-singer wrote as the caption for a shot. His post was made a few days back after TMZ revealed that he and Fox had broken up in late 2024 and were no longer communicating.

Fox has fully moved on, according to people close to her, despite MGK's efforts to deny reports. Sources revealed,

“She’s done with him now. She just wants to focus on the baby and her boys now. She lives alone and doesn’t have much contact with MGK.”

Reports that Fox, 38, and MGK, 34, were no longer engaged came only one month after they announced in November that they were expecting their first child together. Fox allegedly found distressing content on MGK's phone while on vacation in Vail, Colorado, which led to the breakup.

This, however, is not the first time that Fox's relationship with MGK has been ruined. She called the miscarriage she experienced while dating him one of the most agonizing events of her life when she disclosed it in 2023. Fox told WWD,

“That experience was so much harder than I would’ve anticipated it being.”

She clarified that although she had previously had pregnancy problems, the loss was rendered much more heartbreaking by the intensity of her love for MGK.

She said,

“That love element really made this miscarriage really tragic for me and left me with a lot of grief and a lot of suffering.”

Despite Fox's silence over the most recent split, insiders claim that she is now concentrating on moving on and getting ready for the birth of her child, while Brian Austin Green is still openly supporting her, regardless of the circumstances surrounding her split from MGK.
