Steven Spielberg's daughter is thanking Tracy Morgan for making her first courtside Knicks game on Monday night memorable.
Destry Spielberg took to her Instagram Story to upload a zoomed-in photo of her, seated at Madison Square Garden, sporting a visibly disgusted face:
"I had a great time," she captioned the image.
The photo was taken as Morgan, seated two seats over, was throwing up on the floor mid-game, causing it to be put on pause. In a follow-up story on Instagram, Spielberg thanked the comedian and wished him well:
“Genuinely so glad hes okay. Honestly thank you for making my first courtside game one to remember. I will never forget this one,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
Everything we know about Tracy Morgan's health as comedian says he's "ok now":
Tracy Morgan was wheeled off the court in a wheelchair mid-game, prompting worry about his well-being. In the videos circulating online, he could be seen bleeding from his nose and being tended to by several MSG staff members. Morgan was also seen struggling to get into the wheelchair by himself.
While he was immediately taken to the hospital, the 56-year-old has since revealed that his doctors diagnosed him with food poisoning. In a post on Instagram, he, too, poked fun at the incident:
"Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning," Morgan wrote on Instagram.
"Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you! More importantly, the Knicks are now 1–0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs," he added.
MSG has since wished the comedian cum actor the best:
"We hope Tracy feels better soon," a spokesperson said to The New York Post, adding, "and look forward to seeing him back courtside."
The game was stopped for about 10 minutes before it resumed, allowing the staff members to clean up and tend to Tracy Morgan off the court. The comedian is a regular at the games, and as per Fox News, his seat was typically next to MSG Network broadcasters, Kenny Albert and Walter Clyde Frazier on the day of the incident.
Tracy Morgan has been dealing with several health-related issues over the years, including diabetes. His alcohol abuse, however, culminated in a kidney transplant in 2010. However, it remains unclear if it was any of these issues in particular that caused him to throw up on Monday night.
