Towanda Braxton married her longtime boyfriend, Sean Hall, on Saturday, The Jasmine Brand reported. Two of the reality TV star’s three sisters, Toni and Trina, attended the intimate ceremony while Tamar was absent.
The Love and War singer's absence from her sibling’s wedding has sparked speculations about the feud. The animosity between Tamar and Towanda Braxton is not new, as the sisters shared a strained relationship for years now. Both have engaged in a war of words before during their appearances on Baxter Family Values.
Neither has admitted to their unspoken beef on camera, but the rumored fight is almost a decade old. In 2015, Tamar Braxton was confirmed as one of the contestants of Dancing with the Stars Season 21 on Good Morning America. The announcement reportedly came as a shock to her siblings, per Daily Mail.

Before Tamar was added to the lineup, Towanda Braxton was reportedly trying to join the cast of the dance reality show. Daily Mail reported that the younger sibling’s decision to hide her inclusion in Dancing with the Stars Season 21 shocked the other sisters. The outlet further reported that the Braxton sisters felt a sense of betrayal. A source told the outlet:
“When they announced on Good Morning America that she was a surprise addition to the cast lineup this season, it was the first her sisters had heard of it. None of them reached out to congratulate her because they were all appalled she would betray Towanda in this way.”
Tamar later faced some severe health issues and quit the dancing reality show. After her hospitalization and surgery, the 48-year-old was visited by Towanda Braxton. After three months of reported rift, the reunion seemingly allowed the sisters to bury the hatchet. After meeting her older sibling, Tamar said:
“Towanda comes to see me in the hospital, and I haven’t seen or talked to Towanda in about three months. It’s just so emotional for me because nothing is worth my sisterhood. I just want to be around my loved ones.”
Braxton Family Values ended in the seventh season, but Tamar and Towanda have seemingly continued their feud. Both starred in We TV’s The Braxtons and again came at loggerheads. In Episode 2, the sisters and their mother participated in a joint therapy session to cope with Traci Braxton's demise.
During the counseling session, Tamar claimed that Towanda doesn’t call or text her back unless they are filming. The older sister replied:
“I am in a space where I’m focusing on my relationship and whoever is in my household. I’m focusing on my children; I’m focusing on my relationship.”
Tamar called out Towanda, asking whether Trina or Toni was part of her household. The latter then replied that her other sisters call her, and she responds every day. Towanda also hit back at Tamar and asserted that she calls her back every time.

According to The Jasmine Brand, the Braxton Family Values star and her fiance exchanged vows during a private ceremony in Decatur, Georgia. They announced their engagement last year and had been dating for over nine years. Towanda's sisters, Toni and Trina, were bridesmaids at her wedding, while Tamar didn’t attend the ceremony.
The reason behind the Calling All Lovers singer’s absence from her sister’s wedding is unclear. Previously, Tamar and Toni called out each other on social media when the former seemingly blocked the latter.
