Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney has officially called off her wedding, per a report in People.

The magazine published a story on Monday, March 31, based on an inside source, following Sweeney’s appearance at the wedding of actor Glen Powell’s sister. The insider told People that the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress broke her engagement to keep her focus solely on her career. The report claimed:

“She's [Sydney Sweeney] exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She's all about working right now and very excited about all her projects.”

The source added:

“What did make her overwhelmed though was her relationship and her wedding. She didn't feel right about it.”

According to People’s source, Sydney is “in the middle of this magical career,” something she could’ve only imagined a few years back. Amidst focusing on her career, the 27-year-old is reportedly “not ready to settle down.” The source further said:

“They [Sydney and Jonathan] only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off. They didn't split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”

Sweeney started dating Jonathan Davino in 2018, and they got engaged four years later. According to TMZ, the couple reportedly split in January and have lived separately ever since. In February, the outlet revealed that the wedding might get delayed due to the couple’s busy schedules.

The reports of Sweeney and Davino’s wedding being called off emerged last week. As rumors were picking up, The Voyeurs actress was snapped with Glen Powell in Dallas, as both were attending the latter’s sister’s wedding (first reported by DeuxMoi).

According to The Dallas Morning News, both actors were reportedly at Dallas’ Joe Leo Fine Tex Mex during the wedding dinner rehearsal, where John Stamos was also in attendance.

According to TMZ, the duo didn’t arrive together and were there as friends.

A source told TMZ that The White Lotus Season 1 star has been “very close” to Leslie Powell “for a long time,” and she is also “very good friends with the Powell family.”

More pictures of Sweeney from Leslie Powell’s wedding surfaced on social media. She wore a blue corset dress to the ceremony and even posed with the bride for a photo. Sydney was also clicked with Glen Powell’s niece and nephew.
