Did Nicki Minaj and Timothee Chalamet attend the same high school?

Yes, Nicki Minaj and Timothee Chalamet both went to the prestigious LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts, where Chalamet used to rap under the name Timmy Tim. His high school performances were posted on YouTube gathering hundreds of thousands of views so that he didn't even have to give an audition to cast in Willy Wonka.

In another old YouTube footage, Timothee Chalamet can be seen channeling his inner Minaj in a school performance. The actor was wearing a pink wig, a matching pink scarf, white tank top with Minaj's face and name printed on the back. The actor performed Roman's Revenge from Minaj's 2010 album Pink Friday. He was also seen saying, "Rah, rah, like a dungeon dragon."

Minaj also went to the same high school. However, when she proposed a visit to the school after gaining popularity to inspire the then students, the school rejected her offer. While speaking on the matter of visiting the high school, Minaj said,

"That school changed my life and I wanted to pay it forward to the students there now. I was really looking forward to it."

While talking about her high school experience with Vogue in May 2013, Minaj said,

"It was the first time I felt like I really fit in. Everyone was creative. For once, I didn't feel like there was something weird about me."

The school boasts popular Hollywood celebrities including, Jennifer Aniston, Adrian Grenier, Liza Minnelli, and more as alumni.
