Blueface issued a public apology to his mother, Karlissa, for allowing other women to "influence" and "affect" their relationship.

The mother-son duo has long suffered a strained relationship, but it looks like the rapper is ready to mend things. Recently, the Aunt-Tea Podcast host took to Instagram to share a heartfelt text she got from her son, where he can be seen apologizing and pledging to make her his priority going forward.

The internet, however, is not taking too kindly to Blueface's seemingly reformed ways, with many even slamming him for the apparent hypocrisy. Here's what one user penned on Instagram, for instance, for added context:

"So you mad them girls doing how you did them ? LMFAO"

The jokes and remarks didn't end there:

"Whatever Jody you just running your mouth 😂," someone penned.

"I'm sorry mama, I Neva meant to hurt yewww, I Neva meant to make yew cry...ahh speech," another added.

"Real one ☝🏾 he’s reflecting and apologizing to the ones who deserve it," one more chimed in.

Scores were visibly disappointed with the rapper, with many jokingly brushing his talks off as nothing but "jail talk."

In his texts, the rapper penned:

“I want to apologize to you for letting any female influences affect our relationship I thought a few females may have loved me more than you, but I was wrong. I’m glad I came to prison because in my absence, I got to sit back and watch them use my downtime as a headstart to their own advantages.”

He continued:

“You are the only woman entitled to be there for me so now that all the leaves fell off the tree I can get back to my roots, which is you I love you. I’ll be out in a few months come pick me up just you and my kids nobody else!”

Karlissa Safold echoed the sentiments in an emotional caption:

“He knew today would be ruff on me because we celebrated his brother’s birthday every year he was in jail and today they both in jail,” she explained. “I’ll eat some cake for both of y’all because I know God got y’all. Thank you son @bluefasebabyy this means the world to me. Today is bitter sweet.”

Blueface's message to his mom comes months after he claimed he would be getting out of prison. In October 2024, he told the world he would be getting out sometime this year in July, after he turned himself in last January for allegedly violating his probation.
