Al Pacino, 84, claims his one-year-old son with ex Noor Alfallah, texts him every now and then. In a promotional interview with BBC for his autobiography, Sonny Boy, the actor revealed that his son, Roman, stays with Alfallah, 30, given that she has physical custody. He said in the interview that came out on Monday,

"He does text me from time to time. Everything he does is real. Everything he does is interesting to me. So, we talk. I play the harmonica with him on the other video thing, and we have made this kind of contact. So, it’s fun.”

However, the internet reacted with an influx of mockery and ridicule, with many jokingly pointing out that he could be getting scammed. As one user stated,

"Sir, you are getting catfished."
"how does a 16 month old send texts…?" one user questioned.
"his son must be a genius to be able to text at 16 months," another pointed out.
"'Hello Father. It is I, your Son. Send money for toys…yes toys... I love you. This is your son by the way'," another jokingly mimicked.
"Is this the first case of someone being cat fished by their own child," another mocked.

More and more joined in the conversation to joke that it could be Alfallah texting him things like "goo goo ga ga."

"Is the son the boss baby or what.. ?" one user probed, sarcastically.
"His 16 month old son sends him messages like Dad can you send my Mom another $60.000 as I need some baby food," another theorized.
"Dad, this is your 16 month year old son... please send my mother a few thousand dollars... I need it for... 16 month year old things," yet another mimicked.

The rest of the internet was seemingly unconvinced, as nearly everyone called out Al Pacino for "lying."

Al Pacino confirms breakup with Noor Alfallah, reveals he has "friendship"

In 2020, Al Pacino was on death's door after he contracted COVID-19, and when he became a father at the age of 83, he decided to write his 2024 memoir, Sonny Boy. In speaking with the BBC, he said, "I want to be around for this child. And I hope I am. I hope I stay healthy, and he knows who his dad is, of course.”

Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah welcomed their son in June 2023, after having been linked for a year, Page Six reported. However, come September, the latter filed for, and was granted, joint legal custody. Per the outlet, the Scarface actor pays about $30,000 per month in child support.

In an October 2024 interview with People, the Oscar winner touched on the status of their relationship. When he was asked if he was dating at the time, he said,

"No. I have friendship.”

A representative for the two revealed that they are "very good friends, have been for years, and are co-parents to their son Roman."

Al Pacino's memoir, Sonny Boy, touches on several of his relationships, as well as his distaste of the institution of marriage, which he dubbed "an entrance to the pain train.”
