Macaulay Culkin and his partner Brenda Song were in attendance at the Timberwolves vs. Lakers playoff game. As seen in a video posted by the X account “Pop Crave,” Song cheered in excitement for the Lakers. In the video, she said:
“C’mon LeBron, smack this boy outta here.”
Macaulay Culkin was seemingly quiet as he smiled at Song. A section of social media users praised Song’s excitement, while others reacted to Culkin’s expression. For instance, one X user wrote:
“She knows how to ball, he knows Aristotle.”
Netizens praised Culkin for supporting Song, while others suggested that she was into the game.
“That’s so random but so cool! Brenda Song at a Lakers game is such a vibe,” another X user wrote.
“She’s not watching the game, she’s participating spiritually,” an online commentator shared.
“Macaulay Culkin looks like he’s never touched a sport in his life but is excited to support his wife’s interests,” a social media user mentioned.
While some social media users joked about Song’s reactions, others sang in praise of Culkin.
“Macaulay is there to make sure Brenda doesn't end up on the court,” a netizen joked.
“There’s something so hot about how he’s reacting (not over reacting) to her — every Brenda deserves a guy like this,” an internet user remarked.
“He looks so happy, not saying anything, just proud of his wife’s excitement,” a platform user commented.
Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song made it to Cosmopolitan’s cover
Both Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song sat in the front row and were surprised when the Los Angeles Lakers Girls gave them personalized team jerseys with their names on them.
As seen in Pop Crave’s video, after cheering for LeBron, Brenda Song applauded Finney-Smith. She even thanked Vanderbilt at one point. Song was heard saying:
“Every possession matters!”
Song cheered for LeBron, saying:
“He’s gonna take the shot. He has to take the shot. He has to take the shot. Right here. Right here. Right here, baby.”
Brenda Song was recently a guest on the Jennifer Hudson Show, where Hudson mentioned that they made history as the first romantic couple to grace the cover. Hudson asked who among the two was more open to the idea.
Song responded, saying it was funny because people assumed she would be more enthusiastic since she grew up reading the magazine. While she was excited, she was also nervous, and it was Macaulay Culkin who had to convince her.
She explained that it wasn’t just about being in the public eye but about keeping certain aspects private. However, for her and Macaulay, they wanted to share their love with the world. She also mentioned that Culkin’s famous quote was to do it for the mantle and the kids.
Brenda Song mentioned that she and Macaulay Culkin wanted to remind their kids that no matter what, they were still pursuing their passions. While their children didn't fully understand the concept of their work, they tried to explain that it was a lot of fun.
