She also talked about how some people didn't laugh at her jokes and that she was okay with it. As she was supposed to present the award, she stopped mid-way and looked towards Andrew Garfield for assistance, as she was not able to read what was projected on the teleprompter.

She asks Garfield to read what was projected on the teleprompter and goes off-script, confessing that she could not see properly. Andrew Garfield, the gentleman that he is, comes to her rescue saying, "OK, I've got you."

Goldie Hawn further added:

"I'm completely blind. I mean, I am!"

Then she went ahead and mentioned "Cataracts," which was the reason behind her vision problem. However, this incident quickly turned into a topic of discussion, making Goldie Hawn regret talking about her vision condition at the Oscar ceremony. Hawn's comment surprisingly received huge attention, which seriously concerned her and made her feel embarrassed. A source close to the veteran actress informed Daily Mail:
