Tyla dropped the Push 2 Start remix on February 14 featuring Sean Paul. Paul's signature dancehall style music adds a layer of depth to the music, bringing nostalgia to the fans and taking them back to the days of Gimme the Light and Like Glue. While speaking to Billboard about the collaboration, Tyla sang the hook from his 2003 hit I'm Still in Love With You,
"Everyone loves Sean Paul, there's so many songs of his that I absolutely loved growing up. All those songs are so nostalgic and special and vibey. I really wanted that feeling on the song. And he's been speaking to me about wanting to do something, so I felt like this would be the perfect thing."
The South African singer's fans love her collab with Sean and took to the comment section of her X post to praise Paul, saying,

More about Tyla's Push 2 Start remix
Tyla originally released Push 2 Start in October 2024 as one of the three tracks on the deluxe edition of her self-titled debut album. The song quickly became her second entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart following her hit Water.
The video of her original song was dubbed iconic with the singer creating fashion trends in a fringe bra top and denim hot pants, together with stacks of chunky bangles and mismatched gold jewelry.
The singer completed the look with lace-up "Riri" heels by DSquared2. The heels were inspired by Rihanna's style, who made the lace up heels her wardrobe essential over the years.
The rising star also brought her best friend, Thato Nzimande, to the industry by making her the creative director for the Push 2 Start music video. After a throwback video of Tyla and Nzimande fooling around and doing a dance challenge in their high school days went viral on the internet, fans were quick to appreciate her for showing loyalty and support to her friends.
