Shadow Of The Wolf: Lionsgate drops trailer for the upcoming horror film

Shadow of the Wolf, a bilingual Italian film, will soon be available to watch in America. Lionsgate has just dropped its trailer on its official YouTube channel. Shadow of the Wolf is a supernatural horror-thriller film that follows a series of unexpected murders in a small town. Its official synopsis, per Lionsgate, reads:

Christopher Lambert and Maria Grazia Cucinotta star in a chilling tale of horror. When Nico returns from overseas to say farewell to his ailing mother, he discovers something monstrous is happening in the small town he once called home. As the list of grizzly murder victims begins to grow and the authorities fear the killer is a beast unlike anything they have ever seen, Nico senses a savage transformation within himself and uncovers the terrifying secret his family could never reveal.

The film was originally titled L'ombra del lupo. It premiered in 2018 at the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival. Later, it was made available by Amazon Prime Video. Now, it will be available on demand and digital from March 25, 2025 onwards.

Filmmaker Alberto Gelpi has directed this horror film based on a screenplay by Alessandro Riccardi. It stars Raniero Monaco Di Lapio and Marianna Di Martino in the central roles of Nico and Alba. Phillip B. Goldfine, Alessandro Gatto, Gianluca Varriale, and Alessandro Riccardi serve as the film's producers.
