Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have joined the list of Hollywood celebrities assisting aid agencies with relief efforts for LA fire victims.
On Thursday, January 16, Gomez posted a series of Instagram stories that captured her and Blanco distributing sandwiches from Los Angeles' popular gourmet foods store, The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills. In the pictures posted by the pair on their Instagram stories, Gomez and Benny don casual clothes and wear masks as they volunteer to serve the relief groups.
The couple was among the people to distribute food and other refreshment items to the firefighters, National Guard officers, police personnel, and others, alongside the displaced LA residents. In the series of stories, both Benny and Selena also thanked the firefighters and other first responders who have been battling with the Southern California wildfires.

Selena Gomez-owned Rare Beauty has been contributing towards providing help to the community and first responders. The Los Angeles County-based cosmetic company shared:
"As a brand that was born and grown in Los Angeles, we are devastated to see our local community affected by the recent wildfires across Southern California, displacing families and destroying homes and businesses."
The post further updates the readers about the company's ongoing volunteering efforts to help the impacted individuals:
"We have spent the last few days focused on ensuring the safety of our Los Angeles team and friends who have been impacted, and we are working with local organizations on additional product donations and volunteering efforts."
In the post, Rare Beauty displays gratitude towards the "firefighters, first responders, volunteers, and organizations on the ground." The company also revealed that its members have "assembled emergency care kits with essentials for evacuation centers." Besides the kits, Rare Beauty has also donated to the LA Fire Department and World Central Kitchen, the organizations working towards providing immediate aid on the ground.
The post adds:
"We continue to support the Rare Impact Fund’s non-profit partners, providing mental health support to young people — ensuring that now, more than ever, they have the resources they need. We know this will be a long journey of healing and grieving for the place we call home, so we encourage you to keep the momentum in supporting our community to rebuild."

Selena Gomez's longtime friend, Taylor Swift, is another celebrity who recently shared about donating to the cause.
Swift posted a note through Instagram stories that reads:
"The fires in California have devastated so many families, and it's been heartbreaking to see these stories unfold. So much suffering, loss, and destruction. As so many people embark on some of the most challenging times of their lives, there are also many amazing organizations and groups banding together to help these communities rebuild."
She also shared the list of organizations she contributed to while encouraging her 282 million followers to donate. Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, 211 LA, MusiCares, and Direct Relief are the organizations to which Taylor Swift donated.
For the unversed, a series of wildfires have burnt more than 40,695 acres of area in LA County. There have been more than 27 direct fatalities so far, while the death of celebrated director David Lynch has been reported as an indirect casualty. According to Deadline, Lynch evacuated from his LA home after the fires broke out, which worsened his health and seemingly resulted in his death on January 15.
