While this will be the first time the duo work together since starting their relationship, Blanco had previously co-produced songs Kill Em with Kindness and Same Old Love off Gomez’s Revival. Then, years later in 2019, Gomez appeared along with J. Balvin and Tainy on Blanco’s hit I Can’t Get Enough, before their most recent collab on Gomez’s Single Soon.

Selena and Blanco offically began dating in June 2023, and subsequently got engaged in December of 2024. Gomez who has been candid about their seemingly perfect love story, made the engagement news public through an Instagram post with a simple caption reading, “forever begins now.”
