American rapper Dave Blunts sparked a media frenzy on January 25, 2025, when he released his diss track aimed at Plaqueboymax. The track comes amid tensions between the two, with Blunts accusing the latter of mocking him during their past collaborations on Twitch streams.
This comes after Blunt spoke to another streamer, Rangesh "N3on" and revealed why he feels Plaqueboymax does not respect him. Blunts also said that during Plaqueboymax's streams, he was asked to participate in strange and unrelated activities instead of anything music-related.
Blunts, in his conversation with N3on on his stream, said:
"He doesn't like me. He invited me to do weird sh*t. When I was in a stream, we made a song. But he doesn't like me, bro. I don't know why he does not like me."
Blunts stated that he believed those invites were intended to make fun of him, citing incidents like being invited to judge a cookery event and dress as Santa Claus for a FaZemas subathon. He mentioned,
"He just invites me back to do weird sh*t. Like, 'Hey bro, do you wanna be a judge on a cooking show?' I'm like, 'Why the f*ck would I wanna be a judge? Did you invite me 'cause I'm big? I'm an artist. I make music.' Then he invited me to be the FaZe Santa Claus. Why the f*ck would I wanna be Santa Claus? Why are you inviting me—to make a joke out of me?"
Davion Blessing, famously known as Dave Blunts, released a diss track where he targeted Plaqueboymax. A clip of the diss track is shown here:
The lyrics are as follows:
F***** on my name Plaqueboymax invited me to play some Diddy Games / I swear these n***** g** / And I just pour the f***** deuces out of my lemonade / And I just ran my money up, I swear I can't complain / Hell no, / I can't complain
As the diss track was released, the internet was sent into a media frenzy, with one user commenting:
Some users appeared excited about the brewing drama. One user commented,
Dave Blunts calling out Plaqueboymax with "DIDDY" might just be the hip-hop feud we didn't know we needed. The underground scene just got spicier.
Sounds like drama is heating up in the rap game! Wonder how Plaqueboymax will respond to that one. another commented
While some didn't agree or aren't bothered by the feud, they at least recognize the quality of Blunts' rap.
Unfortunately a banger- a user commented
While some sided with Blunts, criticizing, a user added
everybody tryna use him nd kai name for any type of attention
While some users were busy joining in hating Plaqueboymax, some defended the FaZeclan member commenting,
A user commented:
Bro who cares about this dude he literally only get posted because he's fat or else he'd just be another artist paying for promo, his size gets him free clout but at the cost of his health.
Another user added:
Bro probably haven’t seen a mirror in ages. But props to him for being top clout chaser of 2025 while the year just started
While some users completely disregarded Blunts, the user commented,
i could never take a n**** llike this serious. when you're going thru hard times just thank God you're not Dave Blunts.
Plaqueboymax vs other rappers
This isn't the first time Plaqueboymax has had a run-in with rappers. Following a livestream altercation at an Airbnb, rappers Lil Tjay and Fivio Foreign criticized the streamer.
Tensions increased, and an online beef developed when the FaZe Clan Member asked them to stop smoking indoors. They tried smoking weed multiple times before they left. Following this incident, Fivio Foreign released a diss track targeting the streamer, while Lil Tjay publicly criticized him.
In response to this, the streamer responded with his song. The lyrics of his song are as follows:
B*tch, I’m Plaqueboymax / They want smoke in here / Take they ass to the back,
Despite the criticism, Max has received support from prominent streamers like Adin Ross and YourRage, who have praised his ability to handle these disputes.
In July, he spoke with Complex about his frequently absurd yet appealing rapping style. He said he wants to enjoy himself despite not wanting to be labeled.
Blunts went on to say,
"Obviously, I do want to be taken seriously, but at the same time, I'm never going to do this sh*t if I'm not having fun. I'm not going to do things that are a detriment to my sanity just to please people."
He added,
"Like, 'Oh bro, you should take music more seriously.' OK, so you want me to make music like the artists you listen to? Just go listen to that n***a, because I'm not that n***a. I don't worry about that shit. I know that this shit will be taken seriously."
Blunt's diss track has caused controversy, with some accusing the rapper of using the feud for clout, while some believe that his frustration stems from a lack of respect and recognition.
