Olivia Nuzzi reportedly filed for a no-contact order against her former fiance, journalist Ryan Lizza in Washington, D.C., Superior Court on September 30. Lizza in a response to the court on October 14, alleged that he discovered Nuzzi cheating on him "with a married man" (RFK Jr.) for almost a year. As per court papers seen by Page Six, Lizza claimed,

"She admitted the affair and over the course of weeks of conversations she confided how she fell into what she described as a 'toxic', 'unhealthy' 'stupid' 'psychoting', 'crazy', 'indefensible' relationship with a 70-year old 'sex addict' who told her he wanted to 'possess', 'control', and 'impregnate' her."

Previously Nuzzi had alleged that Lizza hacked her devices with the purpose of stalking, surveilling her, and collecting materials that could be used as blackmail to intimidate her back into the relationship, as well as to "inflict public ridicule and humiliation", "professional damage as punishment" when she would not return to the relationship.

However, Lizza denied Nuzzi's allegations and claimed that he was devastated after learning about her alleged affair with RFK Jr., and ended their engagement over it.
