In another impressive feat after debuting with a 100% score at Rotten Tomatoes, Ryan Coogler's Sinners joins the 'A-list' on CinemaScore, an LA-based movie research company. The film now shares the room with films like Dog Man, Paddington in Peru, The Unbreakable Boy, and more.

The big-budget film made $4.7 million in previews, as Variety reports, and is expected to make around ten times that on the opening weekend. That's another Ryan Coogler-Michael B. Jordan collaboration, and the pair was last seen as a director-actor pair in Black Panther (2018), following which the lead actor Chadwick Boseman died. Coogler spoke about it recently.

As CinemaScore already tells us that fans love it, we should also see what fans who have watched the film say about it. First up is one Mr. Kieth, who appears mesmerized by Coogler's direction. The user writes,

"Coogler is a cinematic magician with the smoothest storytelling skills. He made me believe Michael B Jordan actually had a twin brother."

Mr. Earl says,

"It was a very great movie lived every second of it."

Another fan, namely Kim, was impressed by what Ryan Coogler had done apropos of culture. The fan writes,

"I appreciate the RESPECT Coogler showed all of the cultures of the people of the Delta."

The film's already a critical success, and we will soon see it becoming a commercial success. That said, some fans are talking about a potential sequel to the film, and the mid-credits scene makes it a possibility. All of them are characters fresh out of Coogler's mind who can become a part of a bigger franchise.

Although we may not have a sequel in place after what the Sinners director recently said in an interview with Ebony,

"I wanted it to be a holistic and finished thing."

Considering this, even if Sinners becomes a commercial sensation, Coogler may not give a sequel a go. In a way, the mid-credits scene that hints at a further continuation of the story can also be taken as an end to the story. We won't spoil the movie for you here; we have an entire piece in place for that.

As of this writing, Sinners has fallen slightly in the rating at Rotten Tomatoes, as it sits with 98% critic approval based on 223 reviews.
