The first few episodes of Daredevil: Born Again did not show us the villain Muse despite there being rumors and signs of him being in the show. However, the fourth and latest episode of the show had a very short view of the Muse in a bloody mask right before the credits rolled.
Daredevil: Born Again showrunner Dario Scardapane, in an interview with TV Line said that the Muse will cause ''Pretty shocking consequences'' in the show. He also mentioned that the villain character will not only be in the future episodes of season one but also in season 2. This tells us that Muse is not here as a temporary character. He is going to cause problems for both Wilson Fisk and Matt Mudrock.
In his interview with TV Line, Scardapane said,
I call Muse a stressor in this story, in that in the battle between Fisk and Matt Murdock, Muse causes a ripple effect. He causes trouble for Fisk. He causes trouble for Matt Murdock. The Muse run, for lack of a better word, in this story has pretty shocking consequences. And those consequences don’t end. We’re carrying them into Season 2, is the best way I can put it.

What to expect from Daredevil: Born Again?
As we mentioned, Muse is going to be quite an interesting character in the show, not just because he is a dangerous villain, but because he is not the only one. From the looks of it, the show will only get interesting as Matt Mudrock will have to deal with both Fisk and Muse. Rumors suggest that we might even see Fisk and Mudrock join hands to beat the vigilante. As the showrunner hinted and by the first look of the Muse in episode 4, the villain is going to cause havoc in New York City without even appearing on the screen. Fans will just have to wait and watch how Daredevil handles this supervillain.
Who is Muse in Daredevil: Born Again?
Muse is a serial killer artist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe which makes him a supervillain. He kills people, several at a time, and then makes wall graffiti with their blood. Muse has superhuman speed and strength which greatly aids him in his criminal actions. Besides, he can absorb any kind of sensory information and is thus almost untraceable. Muse is also known to potentially have powers that enable him to climb walls.
Marvel Cinematic Universe villains are often as celebrated as the heroes. Of course, fans want to see the heroes win, but they love a villain who has unique powers and a good storyline. While the Muse has not yet properly appeared on Daredevil: Born Again, Scardapane's comments have made fans excited to see exactly how this supervillain will fit into the story's narrative and cause ripples that extend beyond this season.
