Thirteen years ago, Justin Bieber shared a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) that read “if you're a bird i'm a bird,” However, not much seems to have changed over time regarding his fascination for birds. On February 9, 2025, the singer took to his Instagram to share a carousel post in which the first photo was that of a raven and an owl.

He did not contextualize the photo but if one goes through his Instagram posts, they would find several other photos of birds. The recent post seems to have left netizens bewildered but many suggested that it could be a possible hint for a collaboration with Drake. Sharing the photos on X, one person wrote:

“Justin Bieber via his IG He’s been posting owls for a minute now… possible appearance on the Drake x PARTY album?”

As many X users seemed hopeful about the idea, others pointed out that there were equal chances of nothing coming out of it.

“Also the song choice he posted the pic with “see you again we might really be getting the reunion,” a social media user pointed out.
“Yup there’s definitely the chance it could mean nothing. One can hope though,” an online commentator suggested.
“A Drake X Justin Bieber collab would go so hard,” a person commented.

Netizens said a possible collaboration would be ideal for the Baby singer.

“we need this collab,” an internet user noted.
“I mean he is a fellow Toronto native so it would make a lot of sense,” a netizen remarked.
“Would be so fire and also a perfect comeback for JB,” another X user shared.

All about Justin Bieber’s recent Instagram post and journey with Drake

The carousel post also included photos of the singer eating out with friends and doing music work with his teammates. According to People Magazine, since the post wasn't captioned, it led netizens to hint at a possible comeback. The second photo also included his wife Hailey Bieber and others at a restaurant.

In an old interview with Radio.com, Justin Bieber said Drake supported him since he began his career. Speaking about his work, he said:

“Got my Canadian brother Drake so I am excited about that. Yeah, he is awesome, always supported me since day one. He is a real good dude, just like a solid solid individual, really cares about people too, you know. And that’s such a great quality to have, you know, I think that we can, often times our perceptions can switch just like our perspective can switch.”

A Complex interview with Justin Bieber from 2010 highlighted the singer’s success during his formative years. When asked if he could collaborate with Drake, Bieber expressed interest, praising the artist and confirming they had discussed it.

Meanwhile, in 2024, Bieber embraced his inner Drake for Popstar, a collaboration between DJ Khaled and the Toronto rapper. The comedic short film begins with DJ Khaled repeatedly asking Drake to appear in the music video.

Playing an exaggerated version of himself, Drake claims he is too busy and enlists Justin Bieber to step in. The rest of the video follows Bieber taking on Drake’s persona, wearing luxurious outfits, and flashy jewelry, and lounging in a mansion filled with dancers and an entourage.
