“Plot twist. The baby already on the way” — Netizens react as Jacquees says he wants his son with Deiondra Sanders, Snow, to have a sibling 

After openly stating that he wants his son, Snow, to have a sibling, R&B singer Jacquees has caught the attention of the internet, and ignited rumors as well. At the same time, his relationship with his ex-fiancée Deiondra Sanders remains rocky, with tensions between them increasing.

It was in July 2024 that Jacquees, whose real name is Rodriquez Broadnax, proposed to Deiondra Sanders during their baby shower. This was right after the couple had resolved the dispute over the baby's last name. Due to their unmarried status, Deiondra stated in a vlog towards the end of 2024 that their son would not be a junior and would instead have the last name 'Sanders-Broadnax.'

Deiondra Sanders, the daughter of Deion Sanders, an NFL Hall of Famer, gave birth to Snow on August 9 2024, which is coincidently Deion's birth date as well.

After her son's birth, she took to Instagram to share photos and a heartfelt message,

“This journey has been long, but seeing your face, my sweet baby boy, made every moment worthwhile,” she wrote. “I am overjoyed to be your mom and cannot wait to share a lifetime of love and adventures with you. I love you so much Baby Que, I Love you so much Que."

She continued,

“Through every challenge—the fibroids, the threatened miscarriages, the shortened cervix, the cerclage, the myomectomies, the wisdom of age (keep it cute lol), placenta accreta and taking my entire uterus, the bed rest, and the prayers to reach 28 weeks—by the grace of God, WE MADE IT.”

Jacquees has never shied away from showing love to his son. He has posted photos of his son on Instagram multiple times, on the day of the delivery and another one while sleeping together with Snow, with the caption,

“IM IN LOVE AGAIN. Thank you @deiondrasanders."

He has called his son, Snow, the “biggest blessing to date” and declared that he's "in love" once more.

Soon after, the cracks in the relationship started, when she tweeted on X,

"Stop asking me why I'm not around. I'm not allowed to be around them."

After fans questioned her absence from Jacquees’ collab album release.

After she tweeted this, Jacquees took to Instagram to post photos and videos of Snow where he wrote,

"My son is 8 months today! Thank you Jesus and he is the funniest baby on earth I promise you all he do is laugh and play! He’s so smart! Love you Son! 8 months down a lifetime to go!!! #Snow #BabyQue #SnowMan I truly adore you kid."

Deiondra fired back by posting,

"It's really sad to see family choose to NOT spend time with their grandson or nephew based off the hate for their mother. I'm so thankful for the family I have. I love Snow so much and will always protect him."

With this tweet, it turned into a full-blown family dispute.

Shortly after, she shared a picture of Snow sleeping on her,

“Together forever. My mini best friend.”

And then in a now-deleted post, she wrote,

“Watch who you have kids with. I can’t wait till God gives me the desires of my heart. Psalms 37:4 I trust in you, Lord.”

Jacquees, who was on tour with Dej Load, retaliated when TheShadeRoom shared this on their profile:

“Dawg, let’s stop playing with me. Everybody acting like I ain’t self-made—let’s start there. I provide everything for my son, but lately she won’t let me take him anywhere without her. I’m sick of it."

He added the succint follow-up:

“And HER.”

Sanders said that Jacquees had previously taken their kid around someone who reportedly threatened to contact Child Protective Services and was "cool with someone who has threatened to harm”

She said,

“I have offered them to come to the house, saying I would go outside and chill, or we can go out to eat, or they can see him when we [are] in Atlanta, but no, that’s not good enough,”

She continued,

“They only want him overnight without me there. Snow won’t be going anywhere I don’t trust until he can talk!”
