Lil Tjay is in trouble as PlaqueBoyMax has threatened to sue him for using his likeness to design his "No Smoking Indoors" merch. The feud can be traced back to earlier this month when the two men, alongside Fivio Foreign, sat down for a live stream together.

At the time, the two artists were smoking a blunt at an Airbnb when Max asked the other two men to stop. However, Lil Tjay took off his jacket while dancing to his and Fivio's diss track aimed at Max, showing off a sweatshirt with a logo on it. He then uploaded the video on social media, and the caption revealed that the t-shirt version was up for sale worldwide.

All we know about Lil Tjay and PlaqueBoyMax's feud as the two men make threats against each other

Lil Tjay called on all his followers to check out the store by visiting the link in his TikTok bio, and Complex reports that while the merch, labeled "No Smoking," has t-shirts that retail for $45, for $74, you can get a hoodie. As for the merch labeled "No Smoking Indoors," it retails for the same price.

It was during another livestream that PlaqueBoyMax threatened to sue his fellow rapper for using his images without his permission:

"Lil Tjay, I'm suing the s**t out of you," said Max. "I'm taking all earnings. I'm suing the s**t out of you all earnings going to Five Star Incorporation pockets. Just so n****as know, and don't try to call me Drake either 'cause I'm letting you n****s know beforehand."

On Wednesday night, Lil Tjay explained to his followers why he left the livestream, citing that PlaqueBoyMax kept asking him to stop smoking indoors:

“I walk in. I got some whole other s**t on my mind. I understand I came through with 20 goons or [however many] you say. It wasn’t that many, but I’m Tjay, gang. I’m in New York. How you think I’m coming, bro?” Tjay shared via Twitch. “My fault I came through and f**ked up your crib. It ain’t the end of the world, n**ga.”

However, Lil Tjay did offer to cover any damages he might have caused, noting that he and PlaqueBoyMax could “link up another day.” As for why he didn't bother smoking up that day at the Airbnb, he noted that the room “smelled like weed already” and PlaqueBoyMax “was talking a little crazy.”

However, PlaqueBoyMax later revealed that at the time, the smoke alarm at the Airbnb “went off for three hours," adding that “If these fire alarms go off, this stream is off.”

At the time of writing, no lawsuit has been filed, though it remains to be seen if PlaqueBoyMax follows through on his threats.
