Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare is bringing back the mascot horror genre to the big screen. It is the latest chapter in The Twisted Childhood Universe, which began with the release of 2023's Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey.
Written and directed by Scott Jeffrey, it is a slasher horror flick that serves as a retelling of J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan. Martin Portlock will play the central character of Peter Pan while Megan Placito will play Wendy Darling.
The film is set to release in theaters on January 13, 2025. However, it will be available to watch for only one weekend.
The trailer for this horror film has just been released online. While it doesn't reveal enough about the plot, it introduces the key characters in the film. The official IMDb synopsis for this 2025 film is:
"Wendy Darling strikes out in an attempt to rescue her brother Michael from 'the clutches of the evil Peter Pan.' Along the way she meets Tinkerbell, who will be seen taking heroin, believing that it's pixie dust."
