Pamela Bach, the renowned actress of Baywatch fame, passed away on March 5, 2025, aged 62. According to a BBC report, the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office revealed suicide as the reason behind her unfortunate demise. She was discovered dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her head.
In 1989, Pamela married David Hasselhoff, 72, and they welcomed two daughters, Hayley Hasselhoff and Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff. David filed for divorce in 2006, and they divorced in the same year, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the primary reason for their split.
Seeing "false and unkind stories" about Pamela Bach, her daughters feel "heartbroken". The Hasselhoff daughters' publicist shared a statement with Deadline.
"In the wake of this tragedy, the family has been heartbroken to see that certain individuals have chosen to profit from their grief, spreading false and unkind stories about their mother."
It further read,
"These actions only deepen their pain and complicate an already difficult time. The family is requesting that such misinformation cease, and that respect be shown for the memory of their mother."
Pamela Bach’s daughters ask for privacy and respect at this sensitive time
While Hayley and Taylor-Ann mourn a major loss currently, they request the public and the media
"To honor their wishes for privacy, as they navigate this period of mourning."
With their official statement, they confirmed the news of Pamela Bach's passing away last week.
"In this time of sorrow, they are mourning the loss of a mother and constant loving presence in their lives," the statement further mentioned.
Mourning their mother's death and grieving through this period is "a time for reflection, not for exploitation." Hayley and Taylor-Ann count on the public and media to allow them the much-needed space and privacy to grieve and pass-through this crucial time peacefully.
The official statement also remarked:
"The Hasselhoff girls deeply appreciate the genuine support they have received from friends, fans, and the public and asks for understanding as they remember their mother in a way that is meaningful and healing for them."
Pamela Bach's old friend recalled her memories

Terry Ahern was more than Pamela Bach's representative. He was her dear friend, and he recently spoke with People and recounted special memories about her. Praising Pamela, he shared that Bach was
"The kindest person you'd ever meet."
Reflecting on her love for her loved ones, he continued,
"Pamela stood for kindness, sweetness, and love, plain and simple. She loved animals and people and cherished her family. If you needed help, she was the first to respond. Her big smile and laugh will forever leave an impression on our hearts."
Delving more into whether the late actress faced any mental health concerns, Ahern said,
"She was the last person in the world I would think [would do that]."
He also recalled the scary incident of Pamela facing a motorcycle crash with her ex-husband in 2003. She spent "months in intensive care with crushed bones" and received treatment "in the hospital with a broken neck and back."
Ahern added:
"That plagued her — the arthritis from it."
He also revealed that the actress's "body was ravaged from arthritis caused by the accident." Sadly, the harsh impacts "continued to spread and wreak havoc."
