A video of the late Tupac Shakur speaking about Sean "Diddy" Combs, the now-disgraced mogul who was arrested last month, has resurfaced. The video, recorded during a 1995 interview with Vibe, sees the rapper insinuate that Diddy may have had a role in the 1994 shooting in New York. Tupac was shot and killed in September 1996 at the age of 25.

In the video, Tupac was asked, "Do you think Puffy was involved in the shooting?" to which he replied,

"Only they can answer that question. I have my own opinion."

He continued, noting that he doesn't want to be "slandering" anyone's name.

"I believe so, I do believe so. I have proved things that I can say that will back up my claim. But, this is not for the world to know about. It's between me and him, and only he knows."

As soon as the internet caught wind of the resurfaced video, fans online were rife with theories. Many began linking Diddy to Tupac's death, alleging that foul play might have been involved, despite Duane "Keefe D" Davis being arrested for the same in September 2023. Regardless, several took to the comments sections to dish out their theories, with one user noting,

"Pac tried to tell us years ago. Biggie's downfall was rolling with PDiddy aka [snake emoji]."

Scores of the late singer's fans flocked to share their own thoughts.

"28 years later and we might find out who actually was responsible," one user stated.
"looking back at all these videos, there really were signs, lots of them," another iterated.
"Diddy had a lot of connections, especially through his family. He got the nickname “puff” because he’d huff and puff when he’d get mad," another stated.
"Tupac warned about Diddy's shady dealings in the music industry," yet another claimed.

Others online were shocked as to the extent of Diddy's alleged crimes.

"How bad is this Ddy guy?" one user questioned.
"We've been saying for years that Diddy was the one who orchestrated it all," another user posited.
"He ain’t t say diddy set him up. He said he was involved. But yea he warned us about biggie and puffy. Biggie just got dealt with. If puff was in the car with biggie he’d be dead too Pac was set up by henchman and Haitian jack," another claimed.

Several others in the comments section expressed their sympathies at the loss of talent, noting that if Tupac were here today, he would have exposed Diddy's purported crimes. Notably, Keefe D himself has claimed that in the past, Combs offered him $1 million to take out Shakur.

This week, Tupac Shakur's family hired legal representation to look into the allegations of foul play surrounding the rapper's death. They enlisted the help of New York attorney Alex Spiro for the same, Billboard reported. At the time of writing, there are no more details on Shakur's family's investigation into his murder.

Back in 2008, the Los Angeles Times released a report that tied Diddy to the 1994 robbery and hit on Shakur in New York. He said, according to Billboard,

"The story is a lie. It is beyond ridiculous and completely false. Neither (the late rapper Notorious B.I.G.) nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during, or after it happened. I am shocked that the Los Angeles Times would be so irresponsible as to publish such a baseless and completely untrue story.”

It was this shootout that ultimately culminated in the deaths of Shakur and B.I.G., following a feud between the East and West Coast rappers.

Last month, Combs was arrested and detained following charges of s*x trafficking and racketeering, among others. He is currently in jail, awaiting his day in court.
