The Oscars 2025 has just announced a new list of presenters who will do the honors at the upcoming ceremony. This year's Oscar ceremony will take place on March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theater at Ovation Hollywood. Comedian Conan O'Brien will be the host for the forthcoming ceremony and Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation, The Last of Us) will serve as the announcer.
The event will be as star-studded as ever since the presenters will be as exciting as the nominated artists. The Academy has just revealed a new batch of stars who will present the awards at this year's ceremony. They include first-time Oscar nominee Selena Gomez from Jacques Audiard's Emilia Perez besides Joe Alwyn from Brady Corbet's The Brutalist and the Severance executive producer Ben Stiller.
The rest of the newly-announced presenters are Willem Dafoe and Lily-Rose Depp from Nosferatu, Sterling K Brown (American Fiction, This is Us), Goldie Hawn (Death Becomes Her, Overboard), Connie Nielsen (Gladiator, Wonder Woman), Oprah Winfrey (The Oprah Winfrey Show).
Oscars 2025: More details about the upcoming ceremony
The Oscars 2025 ceremony has new presenters joining this year's roster. They include stars like Lily-Rose Depp, Selena Gomez to Oprah Winfrey. They will join the previously announced presenters listed below:

- Whoopi Goldberg (The View, Sister Act)
- Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow, The Avengers)
- John Lithgow (Conclave, Footloose)
- Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation, Mean Girls)
- June Squibb (Thelma, Nebraska)
- Bowen Yang (Wicked, Saturday Night Live)
The rest of the presenters will be last year's winners for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress winners. They will be:
- Oppenheimer's Cillian Murphy
- Poor Things' Emma Stone,
- Oppenheimer's Robert Downey Jr.
- The Holdovers' Da’Vine Joy Randolph
The Oscars 2025 ceremony will take place in Los Angeles a few months after a significant part of the city was caught in tragic wildfires. For the same reason, this year's award show will not feature live performances. When speaking about the changes, the Academy President Janet Yang and CEO Bill Kramer announced that:
“We will honor Los Angeles as the city of dreams, showcasing its beauty and resilience, as well as its role as a beacon for filmmakers and creative visionaries for over a century. We will reflect on the recent events while highlighting the strength, creativity, and optimism that defines Los Angeles and our industry.”
The Oscars 2025 ceremony will be available to watch on Hulu and ABC. It will start at 4:00 pm PT / 7:00 pm ET on March 2, 2025.
