2009's Orphan turned Isabelle Fuhrman into a horror icon. It showed her as 9-year-old Esther, who gets adopted by a married couple. Things soon take a wrong turn when the couple realizes strange things about Esther's personality. Despite her young age, Fuhrman terrified the viewers with her eerie performance. However, the film was reportedly not meant to be a franchise at the time.

Eventually, it received a second chapter, Orphan: First Kill, which is technically a prequel to the 2009 film. Released over a decade later, it pleased the fans of the original film and made them look forward to the next part. There have been talks brewing about a new chapter. Thankfully, Isabelle Fuhrman has shared a positive update for a potential third chapter while speaking with The Holywood Reporter. Here's what the actress said:

"I’ve begun. I’ve read the script, and while I don’t want to give anything away, it’s the only reason I would go back and do another one. When they first said, “We’re going to make another one,” I was like, “You guys are nuts!” But the script is so good. I was like, “OK! A hundred percent. This is a great idea, actually.” So I’m really excited for the fans of thefranchise. It’s funny to even say that because it wasn’t a franchise when I signed onto it at nine years old. So I’m just really grateful that it has turned into something that is so much bigger."
