Paul Thomas Anderson's upcoming action thriller, One Battle After Another, will star Leonardo Dicaprio in the lead role alongside co-stars, Regina Hall and Sean Penn. With a $140 million budget, the crime thriller is set for a September 26 release in the United States and viewers will get to have the exclusive IMAX experience for the upcoming Dicaprio film.

The trailer starts on a rather peaceful note where we see a shot of Leonardo Dicaprio enjoying his drink when Teyana Taylor's character (who is portrayed as pregnant) is seen firing a gun. The trailer reeks of drama and thrill as a number of characters are seen engaging in gunfire with glimpses of a baby appearing in between (whose significance is yet to be revealed).

As per Variety, One Battle After Another had a budget of $100 million but however it has increased by a big number. The film's production began in January 2024 and was reportedly filmed with the help of a 35 mm VistaVision film.

One Battle After Another will be the second time when Paul Thomas Anderson will be following in the footsteps of Thomas Pynchon's novel (the first movie was the 2014 neo-noir mystery comedy). According to reports, filming primarily took place in California and El Paso, Texas and it had a working title of BC Project.
