Now You See Me 3 producer shares a hint about the franchise future
Alex Kurtzman, who has produced Now You See Me 3 with Bobby Cohen, opened up about the sequel. In an interview with Screen Rant, Kurtzman hinted that the film will have elements from the previous two entries, with two generations joining hands.
Kurtzman said:
"I mean, it’s funny, Now You See Me is one of those stories that kind of works all the time. In many ways, it’s also about a new generation and an old generation coming together, which is really, really exciting."
The producer further noted about how films dealing with magic generally don't work, but this franchise has tasted major success:
"Magic is really fun. I feel like what we’re so proud of about Now You See Me is magic movies tended to not work, and then suddenly they worked really well when we made those films and people loved them. You always want to tell a story because you have a story to tell, and it took us some time to figure out what that story was, but we just wrapped recently and I think it’s going to be great."
