Lil Durk was indicted on murder-for-hire charges, with the target allegedly being Quando Rando. Allegedly, his moves were in retaliation for the slaying of musician King Von in Atlanta. The 32-year-old, whose legal name is Durk Banks, was cuffed and charged in Florida last week.
While he awaits his transfer into federal custody at the Broward County Jail, his mugshots over the years have resurfaced. It didn't take long for the internet to take notice and for the images to go viral. Take a look at one commenter said:
"Dude has the same blanked out face in each one. Not a thought behind those eyes."
Several others weighed in on the mugshots and the whole ordeal:
"He still managed to come out of it all," one user noted.
"Bro has more mugshots than I have selfies," another joked.
"16 different times is wild," yet another commented.
"Man has more mugshot than hit songs," another user jested.
The takes didn't end there, as many began to crack jokes at Lil Durk's expense.
"SpongeBob with employee of the month," one user quipped.
"Cooked. Bro just wanna be in jail frfr. Having 16 mugshots is lame," another opined.
"And mfs out here saying “Free the Voice”…the man is a menace fr," someone tweeted.
Seemingly everyone online was in disbelief that the rapper had 16 mugshots to his name.
Lil Durk allegedly sent out his men to take out Quando Rando
Lil Durk, who is currently detained without bail, as well as members of his hip-hop group, OTF, have all been linked to the target on Quando Rando. Notably, it was his cousin, Saviay’a Robinson a.ka Lul Pab, who lost her life that day. The scheme allegedly unfolded in Los Angeles, and according to multiple outlets, Durk allegedly funded the flights and car rentals with his company's name.
According to The Tribune, when his associates carried out his work in LA, they flew back home to Chicago, hoping to collect their payment from Durk. Per the outlet, Durk did good on his promise. Wiretaps, CCTV footage, taped calls, and agents tailing these associates all act as evidence in the case against him.
The five members associated with the killing, and consequently charged with federal crimes, are Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston. They were all cuffed on Thursday, October 24.
All five men have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, committing murder-for-hire involving death, and use of a machine gun in a violent crime resulting in death.
Should he be found guilty, Lil Durk faces the possibility of life in prison.
