Bill Burr, spoke on his 'Monday Morning Podcast' about the state of wealth inequality in America. Sharing his opinion, he placed the blame squarely on billionaires.
According to Burr, the ultra-rich hoard wealth, making it nearly impossible for working-class people to afford rent, let alone survive without juggling multiple jobs. He painted a grim picture of an economy where everyday workers are stressed out just trying to cover basic necessities.
Bill Burr further mentioned how it was not just about money but also family. He argued that the growing wealth gap is tearing apart the country, as parents are forced to work so much that they barely see their kids. He said:
"They need to be put down, you know, like f***** rabid dogs."
Now, people seem to be reacting to his opinions. A user who goes by the username @WUTangKids, shared a clip of Burr's podcast recording and wrote:

Some others seemed critical of Bill Burr and thought his opinion was "misguided." One user @Beauler1 noted:
"His anger pointed at the billionaires is completely misguided. Central Bankers are the real criminals."
"Yeah it was the billionaires that shut down the economy told you you could not go to work then printed a shit ton of money that caused the highest inflation in decades to occur. I get the anger but it's directed in the wrong direction," said @Beav53.
"Says the Millionaire 😂," chuckled @FrancisLiberty7.
This is Bill Burr's one of many controversial statements
Bill Burr's opinions have often been controversial. In 2024, while addressing the results of the 2024 presidential elections on a Saturday Night Live (SNL) monologue, Burr suggested that female candidates running against Trump 'should wh*re it up a little.' He said:
"Alright ladies, you are 0-2 against this guy. But you learn more from your losses than your wins... Ladies, enough with the pantsuits, okay... it's not working. Stop trying to have respect for yourselves. You got to wh*re it up a little. I am not saying you go for Hooters but find a happyemedium between Applebees and your dad didn't stick around."
While presenting awards at the Grammys in 2021, Bill Burr joked about feminists getting angry at a 'cis white male' presenting a Best Latin Music award. His sarcastic tone and dismissive attitude led to criticism, with some calling him disrespectful and even racist. Burr later shrugged off the backlash, saying he was just doing his thing.
Bill Burr has also shared his opinion on religion, especially Catholicism, for years. His Netflix special, Paper Tiger featured a bit about how the Catholic Church covered up abuse scandals, comparing it to a corrupt corporation. Religious groups have often called his takes offensive.
