Stills from Gareth Edwards' Jurassic World: Rebirth is going viral online, drawing varied reactions from many. In these pictures, Jonathan Bailey, Mahershala Ali, and Scarlett Johansson can be seen in a world where dinosaurs have come back to life, and fans cannot help but be excited-- or poke fun.

In one image, for example, three men, including Ali, look at the sky in complete awe. One user pointed out there was no reason for them to be happy, as they probably didn't know what was coming for them. Here's another funny reaction:

"Nice color grading."

Even more chimed in:

"They can release a Jurrasic world movie every year I would never get tired of this franchise!" one user reacted.
"Let me guess some gene splicing that will rival the gene splicing that occurred in the last few sequels," someone else jokingly stated.
"Blade, Black Widow and Legion crossover," another added.
"Gosh it sure would be swell to see some dinosaurs from the dinosaur movie," a fourth user commented.

The comments didn't end there:

"Scarlett Johansson, enough said. Let me know the date and time and I will be there in the theater," one user stated.
"Never mind all that. Is the T-rex finally going to die in this one??" one user jokingly asked.
"OMG MORE DINOSAURS," someone exclaimed.

Scores online were more happy about Scarlett Johannson joining the Gareth Edwards film, if anything.

Gareth Edwards says his upcoming Jurassic World movie is a giant love letter to his predecessor, Steven Spielberg

As for how they shot the upcoming film, Gareth Edwards told Entertainment Weekly in an exclusive interview:

"I'm allowed to say this now that we’re on the other side of it, but we shot in rivers and these mangrove swamps. When we were scouting them, we saw poisonous water snakes, massive ones that we had to catch. We kept it quiet from the actors as they spent a whole day wading through the same area. And there were giant spiders that were poisonous and stuff on the edge of the trees. You just wouldn't point them out if you saw them. Just keep going!”

He went on, referring to the latest installment in the Jurassic World franchise as a "love letter" to Steven Spielberg. Here's what he said:

"I can't speak for Universal, but it did feel like a new trilogy, in a way. I'm not sure what their plans are, but it felt like the beginning of a brand-new chapter in this franchise. To me, it's a giant love letter to Steven Spielberg and his earlier films. There are moments in this movie that remind me very much of Jaws. It’s like little greatest hits of all those aspects of his films that I loved growing up as a child. It's essentially a little adventure odyssey across this island, a survival story, really.”

Regarding what to expect in the Gareth Edwards movie, it is set five years after the end of Dominion, in which dinosaurs and humans co-existed. However, the creatures are now going extinct as the present-day Earth is inhospitable.

The catch is, however, that the three biggest dinosaurs of the land, sea, and air, contain coveted genetic makeup that can be harvested to create life-saving medicines for humanity.

In Gareth Edwards' film, Scarlett Johansson will embody the role of Zora Bennett, while Mahershala Ali will play Duncan Kincaid. Bailey will be the paleontologist, Dr. Henry Loomis.
