According to a recent report in TMZ, Elway was driving the golf cart when the accident took place, which left Sperbeck in critical condition. The outlet earlier reported that his prognosis is not good, and he has been kept on life support.
Sperbeck, a longtime NFL agent and business partner of John Elway, reportedly fell off the golf cart driven by Elway and struck his head on the ground, per the reports.

He was rushed to the Desert Regional Medical Centre by his wife and another person on the scene. Doctors have informed his family that he will not survive, and arrangements are being made to donate his organs.
TMZ also reported that no one else was injured in the mishap, and the police didn’t respond to the scene. Sperbeck, Elway, and their wives had been at the Stagecoach festival earlier in the day and were reportedly leaving a post-party after the incident.

She explained that she was just heading out of the community when she saw Sperbeck lying on the ground, surrounded by people.
She described the incident as “scary” and that his wife was “hysterical.” She added that the medics responded quickly, as when they were leaving the scene, they heard the ambulances approaching, which would have been “probably five minutes.” When the news presenter asked her if she saw Elway and what his reaction was. She said that he was the one who called 911.
As of now, Sperbeck is said to be in critical condition, and no updates on his health have been reported so far.
