More details on Dexter: Resurrection
The show follows Dexter: New Blood, a brief revival of the series, and ten years later, the sequel chronicles Dexter's life after it is turned upside down by the arrival of his estranged son Harrison, who lives in New York under a false identity.
Harrison shot and attempted to kill Dexter at the end of the series. However, Dexter survived the gunshot, as evidenced by the opening scene of the prequel series Dexter: Original Sin, where he is found in the woods and taken to a hospital. Afterward, the series shifts to a prequel story that focuses on Dexter's formative years in the 1990s.
The spin-off series adds on to the thrill of the franchise as we follow Dexter Morgan on his new endeavors. The plot of Dexter: Resurrection is being kept under wraps for now, with little to no information available on the roles of the newly joined characters.
Dexter: Resurrection is still being filmed and is set to hit screens this summer.
