Netflix is coming up with another action flick called Exterritorial, where a mother is on the lookout for a son. And she isn't just some run-of-the-mill mother going about her business; she has a particular set of skills (does that sound familiar with a Liam Neeson flick?).

The film will see Jeanne Goursaud, Dougray Scott, Lera Abova, and more in it. While it's still just over a couple of weeks until you get to stream the film on the platform, here's the plot (via IMDb) to rouse your curiosity.

"When Special Forces soldier Sara visits the US consulate in Frankfurt with her young son, he suddenly disappears. Not only that, but no one seems to remember ever entering the building. Sara is asked to leave the consulate. But she knows that the German authorities have no access to the consulate. If she leaves now, she may never be allowed on the premises again. In the desperate search for her child, Sara goes into hiding in the labyrinth of the consulate, without suspecting that the noose of a dangerous intrigue is tightening around her neck."

Christian Zubert, known for Lammbock (2001), Three-Quarter Moon (2011), and more is writing and directing.

The Exterritorial trailer sees a happy mom with her small kid visiting the US consulate; she is there for the H-1 work visa. As soon as they enter the premises, Sara (Jeanne) realizes that her son Josh has gone missing.

She is trying to inquire about this, but it's clear in the interrogation scene that there's something wrong, as she isn't allowed to talk to the police. And the trailer explains that the German police have no jurisdiction in the consulate. Somebody has planned the events smartly.

As soon as she realizes this, we see her escaping the room and later from what seems like a hospital. It seems like she got herself hurt while fleeing the latter building.

Dougray Scott's character, Erik, whom Sara is earlier seen escaping from, appears to have been given orders by Annabelle Mandeng's Deborah Allen to handle all this quietly. But we also hear him telling her that "she is just a scared mother." Bet she is, and the scared mother is certainly going to leave scars on this consulate in Exterritorial.
