The internet is buzzing after the Atlanta rapper, Young Thug, was spotted spending Christmas with Mariah the Scientist, his girlfriend of almost three years. The reason behind the buzz is related to a recent controversy involving Leena Sayed and Young Thug.
Just days earlier, a video from 2022 was leaked of Thug on a video call with model Leena Sayed, who is now the fiance of world-renowned boxer Devin Haney.
Sayed was on a conjugal visit to the jail. The nature of the call raised questions, with some speculating that it was romantic in nature, especially since Young Thug and Mariah were allegedly already dating as of 2020.
The rapper, however, was quick to address the issue. On Christmas Eve, he took to X where apologized to Mariah publicly, writing:

Leena Sayed, responded back to the drama by stating that she is happy with her relationship with Devin Haney as the couple is expecting a child together. Despite the nature of their call, she denied any romantic involvement with Thug.

Mariah the Scientist and Young Thug first met each other in March 2021 after Mariah wished Young Thug a happy birthday on social media.
