Reality TV star Miss Nikkibaby calls out her ex Gelo, the former basketballer turned rapper, for neglecting his parental responsibilities while spending extravagantly on his current girlfriend Rashida Nicole. After Nicole posted a photo of receiving a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, that Ball allegedly gave her as a gift.

Nikkibaby, whose real name is Nikki Mudarris, didn't waste any time in criticizing him, asking how he could afford a luxury car while supposedly neglecting paying for his child support. Nikkibaby gave birth to LaVelo Anthony Ball in July 2023 and to LaNiyah Nicole last December.

Gelo reportedly abruptly broke their 3.5-year relationship, abandoning Mudarris and their kids to pursue a new romance, according to Mudarris. On social media, she shared her disgust and sense of betrayal, writing,

"We were just happy and planning family photos—I am beyond blindsided by this whole thing. The ultimate betrayal is not even the word. My daughter is not even 2 months old and dealing with this and postpartum is very hard. Please pray for me & my healing because I will get through this. I have to be strong for my kids but I have absolutely no words. Karma is real and God don't like ugly, I hope it was worth losing his family."

Then in the month of February, Miss Nikkibaby publicly accused Gelo of neglecting to keep in touch with their two-month-old daughter LaNiyah and one-year-old LaVelo for about six weeks. Mudarris vented her annoyance on social media, emphasizing Gelo's lack of involvement with their kids.

She posted on her Instagram story.

"We pushing 6 weeks, your kids ain't hear from you yet!" Diabolical. Exit the chat."

Gelo has openly denied charges of maltreatment in reaction to these accusations. He underlined his dedication to his kids, saying he has always supported them and will soon welcome them to his home. Gelo insisted that he still carries out his paternal duties and rejected Mudarris's charges as baseless.

In response, he wrote a post on Instagram.

"Quit tht soft sympathy sh*t. Nobody was in my shoes but everyone can paint they own picture of me lol I paid for the most sh*t in my life when I was wit her, idk when yaw thought she was paid.. I can wipe my own a**. She gotta ask mommy n daddy or give up mileage.."

He went on to add,

"I watched the kids more than her n ima grown man wit my own shi, I don't have to call her to conversate wit my babies who can only say dada. They'll be at the mansion soon, I'll see them the right way don't trip haha."

More information on Gelo's new partner Rashida Nicole

Raised in Chicago, Illinois, Rashida Nicole attended Eastern Illinois University to further her education. She graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism and a master's in business communications. She started her career at the well-known radio station Streetz 94.5 before making her first appearances on reality TV in 2016 on "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" and the show "Survivor's Remorse." By landing the lead in the indie film "Last Straw" in 2022, she solidified her reputation in the entertainment sector.

Ball's and Nicole's meeting time and circumstances have not been made public. But in the midst of the Mudarris issue, their connection was made public. Ball had moved on from his prior relationship before they became connected, according to Nicole, who justified their connection.

The public's response to this developing drama has been mixed. While some supporters have backed Gelo, arguing that Mudarris's charges may be overblown, others have attacked him for supposedly putting his new relationship above his paternal duties.
