Leigh has been a topic of discussion in social media forums including Reddit, with some users alleging that she started dating Clifford when she was 34 and he was 19. An X user user posted the video:

This comes after a reddit user took to the r/Fauxmoi subreddit alleging that Crystal Leigh cheated on her brother, who was her boyfriend at the time, with Michael Clifford. The reddit user claimed that a person in Atlanta confirmed that they knew Leigh and she was much older than they were.
